S/5377 Antique Treen 19th Century Carved Grain or Rice Dispenser

An attractive hardwood grain or rice dispenser, well carved from a single piece of wood. The hexagonal handle is above an open recessed circular centre, with a protruding tapered spout, all chip carved and conforming with the overall design on the reverse side with a central star. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
