S/5410 Antique Treen 19th Century Small Burr Birch Scandinavian Ladle

A delightful small Scandinavian ladle made from a single piece of Burr Birch, having a curved square section handle with an inset suspension hole and chip carved with the centre panel depicting a heart. The circular bowl is beautifully grained and the whole has a lovely honey colour and retains a patination.
