S/5416 Antique Treen Swedish Late 18th Century Dated Decorated Marriage Bowl

A most interesting folk art Swedish marriage bowl in painted and decorated pine, having an interior with a band of writing which is dated Anno 1784, above a painted floral design, all on a pale red ground. The exterior has incised lines and a shallow foot with a carved initial P.
