S/5439 Antique Treen 19th Century Swedish Pine Bentwood Food or Trinket Box

A 19th century Swedish pine bentwood trinket or food box, having a sprung lid in the usual manner, with an open handle that is decorated with punch work, which conforms with the body, that is constructed in the usual manner with an overlap join. The whole has a medium colour and retains a patination. The lid has been restored.
