S/5418 Antique Treen 18th Century Burr Maple Bowl

An extremely tactile 18th century Swedish burr maple bowl, having incised lines either side of a banded rim and raised on a stepped foot with turning rings. 18th century bowls such as this example are so difficult to find. The whole has a lovely grain, colour and patination and is a serious collector's item.
