S/5424 Antique Treen 19th Century Welsh Sycamore Cawl Bowl

A pleasing Welsh sycamore cawl bowl, having incised line decoration and raised on a shallow foot. Through shrinkage across the grain it has become slightly oval in appearance. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
