S/5428 Antique Treen 19th Century Dutch Cherry Wood Gingerbread Mould

A rare and most unusual Dutch cherry wood rectangular gingerbread mould depicting a pig feeding from a trough. The quality and detail of the carving is excellent and is contained within a raised metal band. The whole, of cherry wood, has a lovely rich colour and a fine patination.
