S/5433 Antique Treen Large Sycamore Bowl of the Georgian Period
A large late 18th century sycamore bowl, having an angled rim with incised line decoration. The exterior has a triple reed with pole lathe turnings and is raised on a vertical foot. It has been well used and showing signs of use and wear. The whole has scattered historic worm holes throughout, which adds to the character of this attractive bowl and has a good colour and patination.
