S/5451 Antique Treen 19th Century Oak Goblet Inscribed and Dated 1893

A well turned late 19th century oak goblet, having a flared rim and bands of reeded decoration with a central knop. The stepped and rounded base terminates in a reeded vertical foot. It has a paper label on the base dated 1893 which reads 'Taken from the roof of the stables of the Queen of Bohemia palace. She was the eldest daughter of James 1.' The whole retains a patination.
