S/5407 Antique Treen Victorian Signed Boxwood Presentation Truncheon

A beautifully carved Victorian boxwood truncheon, presented to W.C. Ackrell, F. Division N. in carved letters on one side, while on the other side it is carved with a crown above a portcullis and V.R. (for Victoria Rex), all against an all over chip carved background. The shaped handle, with a white metal collar, is reeded terminating in a knob end. It is of exceptional quality, colour and patination.
