S/5527 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Boxwood Spice Grinder

A delightful small two section boxwood spice grinder, having a top section with an open aperture that houses a wooden grooved ball which revolves by turning the thumb piece. The ground spice then falls into the lower section, which unscrews to allow access ready for use. The whole has an excellent colour and patination, as so often found with boxwood items.
