S/5537 Antique Treen 19th Century Lapland Burr Birch Ladle

A delightful Early 19th century burr birch ladle, having a deep circular bowl with delicate poker work decoration depicting a Christmas tree. The handle has a lattice zig zag border and is initialled J.M. The whole has an excellent rich colour, grain and patination.
