S/5580 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Oak Wall Pocket

A most useful early 19th century blond oak wall or shelf pocket, having an angled backboard with an open suspension hole. The single compartment, of dovetailed construction, has fret cut decoration. The whole has an excellent honey colour, made of well grained blond oak and retains a pleasing patination.
