S/5611 Antique Treen Early Victorian Rectangular Wooden Snuff Box
An interesting early 19th century wooden snuff box of rectangular form, having a full width integral hinged lid and channel moulded base. It is inscribed on the lid in gold lettering, 'Part of the Marye Rose sunk at Spithead in the reign of Henry VIII and rediscovered 1836, having been under water 300 years'.
