S/5668 Antique Treen 18th Century Burr Elm Bowl

An extremely fine early 18th century burr elm Welsh bowl, having an exterior with deep moulded decoration below a flared rim. The interior has further incised lines and has fine pole lathe turnings. The whole has a wonderful rich colour and patination throughout and is a serious item of treen for the keen collector.
