S/5685 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Hook Handled Ladle

A 19th century Swedish beech ladle, having a hand carved bowl and integral hook handle for hanging and resting on the side of a bowl. The underside shows extensive chisel markings, from when it was carved from the solid. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
