S/5700 Antique Treen 19th Century Burr Elm Model of a Shoe

An attractive burr elm traveller's sample model of a shoe, with both steel and brass pique decoration, having a square toe, simulated lace holes and a protruding heel. It has a most excellent grain, as always found in burr elm items, a good rich colour and patination.
