S/5711 Antique Treen 18th Century Welsh Sycamore Child's Dolphin Spoon

A well worn child's 18th century Welsh sycamore dolphin spoon of traditional form, having a dark stained bowl through years of use. The shaped handle, which gave it its name, has a rounded and upwards curved end, giving it a most attractive appearance. It is an extremely tactile item and has a lovely warm and patinated surface.
