S/5741 Antique Treen Georgian Period Elm Bowl with Floral Penwork Decoration

An unusual Georgian elm bowl, having an exterior decorated with a penwork floral pattern, with two bands of incised lines. The elm is attractively grained and has a good colour with extensive lathe turnings, raised on a shallow foot.
