S/5778 Antique Treen Mid 19th Century Victorian Sycamore Wine Funnel

A mid 19th century two part sycamore wine funnel, with the tapered spout having a screw thread which makes it detachable for cleaning purposes. The bowl, with a slightly flared and rounded rim, has become discoloured through use and shows fine lathe turnings throughout. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
