S/5836 Antique Treen Mid 19th Century Carved Dutch Snuff Shoe

A small fruitwood beautifully carved Dutch snuff shoe, having a removable well fitting lid. The whole is intricately carved all over, including the base, with many various designs and has a pale colour retaining a patination.
