S/5793 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Square Section Chip Carved Welsh Knitting Sheath

A good square section fruitwood Welsh knitting sheath, extensively carved with hearts, diamonds and various other designs, including eight sets of twin initials. It also has a twin open dividing lantern with a ball in each section. The whole has a good pale colour and patination.
