S/5820 Antique Treen 18th Century Small Boxwood Brass Bound Nutmeg or Spice Grater

A small excellent quality Georgian two section boxwood brass bound travelling mortar grater. The pestle, with a metal grater and knob end, has fine incised line decoration, which conforms with the brass bound body. The whole has an excellent colour, as often found in boxwood items, with a lovely patination.
