S/5840 Antique Treen 19th Century Masur Birch Snuff Box

A good quality masur birch snuff box of oval form with a full width integral hinge, having a lid that opens to reveal a tortoiseshell lined interior in the traditional manner. The whole has lovely figuring, honey colour and good patination.
