S/5902 Antique Treen 18th Century Cherry Wood Pedestal Salt

An exceptional 18th century cherry wood pedestal salt, having circular form and of a matching stepped design above and below a concave stem. It has excellent pole lathe turnings to the interior and on the concave base. The whole has a lovely colour, as often found on cherry wood, and extremely fine patination.
