S/5899 Antique Treen 19th Century Diminutive Cherry Wood Salt

An interesting small cherry wood salt, having double incised line decoration. The base, which is larger in diameter than the bowl, does not conform with a traditional design. We believe the base has possibly been replaced at a later date. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
