S/5912 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Apple Wood Snuff Spoon

A tobacconists apple wood snuff spoon, having a shaped and turned handle. These were used by tobacconists for measuring the amount of snuff when serving a customer and replenishing snuff for a pocket sized snuff box. The whole has a pale colour and retains a patination.
