S/5951 Antique Treen Pear Wood Cawl Ladle of the Georgian Period

A lovely late 18th or early 19th century fruitwood cawl ladle of traditional form, but having an unusual swan's head open handle, carved from a single piece of pear wood. The whole has an exceptional colour and patination.
