S/5936 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Pocket Snuff Box

An excellent quality solid mahogany snuff box of a curved design, to fit in ones hip pocket in the same principal as a hip flask. The one piece mahogany base, with a tin lined interior, has a figured mahogany veneered lid with a full width brass hinge and snaps shut with an inset thumb piece. The whole is of a superior quality and has a good rich colour and patination.
