S/5954 Antique Treen 19th Century Virginia Walnut Pair of Bellows Snuff Box

A good Virginia walnut snuff box in the form of a pair of bellows, of which the front has brass pique lettering which reads 'My Only Love'. The sides and back also have brass pique decoration. On the back there is a sliding lid to gain access to the snuff, which has a stop pin to the underside, to stop it coming right out and possibly becoming lost. The whole is well carved and has a most pleasing colour and patination.
