S/5996 Antique Treen 19th Century Sycamore Cuckoo Whistle

A sycamore cuckoo whistle with an acorn finial, simulating the sound of a cuckoo and having a body with a circular hole for one's finger to change the sound. The whole has a pleasing honey colour and retains a patination.
