S/6020 Antique Treen 19th Century Turned and Staved Tobacco Jar

An attractive circular Dutch turned and staved tobacco jar, having alternate vertical bands of birch and mahogany of baluster form, which is below a fitted and turned conforming lid, with a tall ebonised shaped finial. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
