S/6032 Antique Treen Mid 19th Century Dated and Initialled Swedish Salting Trough

A most pleasing pine boat shaped Swedish salting trough, carved from the solid and having carved initials O.I.S. and the date 1842 on the underside. The whole has an excellent pale colour and retains a patination.
