Since our Autumn Newsletter last year at the beginning of November, we have exhibited at the NEC Fair, Birmingham from the 25th till 28th November and sold a great number of items. We met several clients for the first time who had previously purchased from this website and we shall be there again for the April Fair which runs from the 7th till 10th with many new items of stock on our stand A17 in our usual position. We have been busy in our gallery in Bideford and the website has also been up to expectations, especially with our American clients, many of which make regular purchases. Since Brexit it has been more difficult to send items to the E.U. with extra costs and customs taxes, but we are still managing to do business with some of our regular clients. As mentioned before, 18th century items of treen are definitely getting harder to find, as collectors are hungry for the rare and unusual. This is also beginning to happen with later 19th century treen, the reason why culinary items, known as kitchenalia, are now being much sought after and prices are rising accordingly. We still add to this website on a daily basis when not away, so do keep an eye on it. We look forward to seeing you at the NEC Fair.
