Business has been better than expected since our last Spring newsletter in March. We have been fortunate in being offered some interesting pieces of treen from private collections, some of our clients have been down sizing and all this has helped us maintain our stock and update this website on a daily basis. We exhibited at the NEC Birmingham Fair in April and although it was successful, the attendance was lower than the previous November. The Builth Wells Fair at the end of April was well attended and business was brisk, as was the Shepton Mallet Fair in June, where we did a lot of business with both old and new clients. We have decided to exhibit at the one day fair at Shepton Mallet on Sunday the 17th July and we are going back to exhibit on the one in August on the 14th. The website has been busy with UK and American clients, although the EU is still problematic. With the difficulty we are having with our bank Santander in accepting cheques, if possible an online transfer is preferable, but we still accept cheques as a method of payment. Do remember the search box on our home page if you are searching for an item, as all stock including sold items can be found by putting in the enquiry in the singular. We look forward to receiving enquiries or meeting you at one of our fairs or our own gallery in Bideford. A telephone call prior to visiting is always advisable to ensure we are not away on any given day. We wish you good health and some relaxation during the summer months.
