Spring Newsletter 2024

13.04.2024

After all the rain we are looking forward to a better Spring and Summer. After putting on our website many interesting, fine quality and sometimes rare items, we have been busy on the website and at fairs with many items finding homes with collectors and clients new and old. Some items of note recently put on our website include: S/5970 Antique Treen 19th Century Welsh Pine Knife Sharpening/Polishing Board; S/5993 Antique Pair of Georgian Red Lacquered Papier Mache Coasters; S/5988 Antique Treen Georgian Mahogany Cheese Coaster; S/5991 Antique Treen 19th Century Three Tier Sycamore Spice Tower; S/6002 Antique Treen 18th Century Fruitwood Ribbed Rolling Pin and S/5972 Antique Treen 19th Century Elm Skirt or Trouser Ironing Board. Items of quality are certainly getting harder to find on the open market, so the recently handled items from private collections have given us many desirable items of stock, of which many have found new homes both in the UK and abroad.

We apologise for the problems we have had with our landline telephone number, which is at present working now, however please use our mobile number 07703 336629 as well if problems reoccur, as the issue with British Telecom is still not resolved.

Our next fair is a Builth Wells on the 04th – 5th May in our usual spot and we shall be taking our entire stock of treen as usual. It is a large fair, similar to Shepton Mallet and is well worth a visit if you have not come to it before. After that we shall be back at Westpoint, Exeter and Shepton Mallet in June in our usual spots. Please look at the events page on our website for confirmation of dates.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the fairs or in our gallery in Bideford should you be able to visit us.
